Striking images from Croatia, where rally world champion Sébastien Ogier was involved in an accident on the way to the first chrono stage on the morning of the final day of the Rally of Croatia. Only damage to the eyes could be noted, but the way in which the Frenchman continued his way afterwards raises questions.

Ogier started as leader on the final day, but on the way to the first chrono stage things went wrong for the Frenchman.

After colliding with another car, Ogier performed an emergency repair on his Toyota, after which he was stopped by the police. Ogier, who was pressed for time to arrive at the departure point in time, clearly had no intention of listening to Croatian security forces.

Ogier is still in the game, but has since lost his leading position to Toyota teammate Evans. Thierry Neuville follows in third place in a handful of seconds. The final test will be completed on Sunday afternoon, but the question is whether Ogier will be allowed to start there.
