We are excited to announce that a deal has been signed between Fellow Traveller, a narrative games publisher, and Made Up Games, a new game development studio from New York. This collaboration has produced a new interactive story and video game that we can’t wait to share with you.
What’s The Scoop?
The new interactive story and video game is titled Pine: A Story of Loss. Pine is expected to be released in late 2024 and will be available on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game follows the story of a woodworker who is grieving the loss of his wife. Through his art of wood carvings, he turns memories into stunning creations.
However, his obsession with his art becomes a problem as he navigates through interactions and hand-drawn animations that will evoke emotions and tug at your heartstrings. Each season brings new challenges and memories of his past, as he reflects on the days spent with his wife.
In Pine, you will immerse yourself in ambient vibes, solve puzzles, and experience everyday tasks in a unique way. The visuals, blending classic American art with a clean style, are truly impressive. You can check it out for yourself here.
