It is anticipated to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy C55, which was unveiled in China last month. Marketed as the thinnest vegan leather smartphone of 2024 in its segment, the F55 features a vegan leather back with faux stitching, as shown below.
Furthermore, Samsung claims that it will be the lightest vegan leather smartphone released in 2024. The phone will be available in two colors: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.
If it turns out to be just a Galaxy C55 with a different name, then it is likely to sport a 6.7-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz Super AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 8/12GB of RAM, 256GB of expandable storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide, a 2 MP macro camera, a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. It will come running Android 14 with One UI 6.1 out of the box.
