DxOMark experts tested the camera of the flagship smartphone HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra, assessing the photographic capabilities of the new product in a series of tests. The device scored the highest score in three major disciplines at once and became the new leader in the laboratory’s consolidated rating.
The rear camera block of the smartphone includes a main “inch” sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a retractable lens, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, and a 50-megapixel sensor with a traditional telephoto lens.
Tests carried out in various conditions and shooting modes allowed experts to compile a list of the strengths and weaknesses of the gadget’s main camera. They cited the following features of the model as advantages:
- Camera versatility with “today’s best” mobile photography capabilities
- Excellent results in all shooting conditions (street, indoor, bright, and low light)
- Excellent exposure and color rendition, as well as high-quality autofocus performance
- “Best in segment” zoom performance
- High-quality portrait shots with a natural and smooth blur effect
- Excellent quality macro photography
The only negative was noted in the video recording mode – experts pointed out instability and the loss of detail in some scenarios (particularly when shooting in low-light conditions).
Based on the results of testing HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra scored 163 pointstaking first place in the laboratory’s consolidated ranking. The smartphone showed the same result in its price segment.
