iQOO launched the Z9 in India in March, and on May 16, the brand will be launching the Z9x in the country. The Z9 available in India is different from the model sold in China, so there was a possibility that the Indian Z9x would also have differences. However, now that some key specifications of the Z9x have been confirmed, it seems that won’t be the case.
iQOO and Amazon.in have revealed that the Indian Z9x, similar to its Chinese counterpart, will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoCwill feature a 6000 mAh batteryand will support 44W fast charging. The smartphone will be available in black in addition to the previously confirmed green shade and will have a thickness of 7.9 mm. It will also be equipped with a 50 MP camera.
Indian iQOO Z9x’s Key Specifications
If the remaining specifications of the Indian iQOO Z9x match those of the Chinese model, then you can expect a 6.72″ 120Hz FullHD+ LCD, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will come with an IP64 rating and will feature an 8MP front-facing camera, while the 50MP primary camera will be included in the Indian Z9x. It is likely to run Funtouch OS out of the box instead of OriginOS, as the latter is exclusive to China.
