When we think of top figures at the FIA, we first think of FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, but about eighteen months ago Natalie Robyn was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). It is one of the highest positions within the FIA, but Robyn is resigning from her position.
It is a statement that the FIA informs that Natalie Robyn has “decided in mutual consultation with the FIA to leave to pursue opportunities outside the FIA”. It is striking that Robyn is already the fourth top figure at the FIA to say goodbye to the FIA since December. Technical director single seater Tim Goss and sporting director Steve Nielson also recently left the FIA.
Natalie Robyn was appointed CEO of the FIA just eighteen months ago, making her the first to hold this position at the FIA.
“Natalie has taken the lead in the thorough overhaul of the federation’s operational structure. She played a crucial role in modernizing the FIA, improving governance and ensuring sustainable financial stability,” the FIA said. “Her decision to pursue opportunities outside the FIA has led to her leaving the organization by mutual agreement from the end of May.”
