Vivo unveiled the Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Pro smartphones in India a few weeks ago. Now, the company seems to be preparing to introduce the Vivo V40 series as the upcoming Vivo V40 Pro has been spotted on the EE Setup website. The Vivo V40 Pro’s EE Setup listing reveals its model number V2347. Let’s take a look at the details.
Vivo V40 Pro
The Vivo V40 Pro appeared on a UK carrier – EE’s website. The listing suggests that the handset will come in two variants, one of which will support NFC connectivity and the second variant will lack it. Apart from this, the listing doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming Vivo smartphone.
This is the first time the Vivo V40 Pro has been seen online. So, nothing is known about the device in terms of specs and features. However, we can expect it to bring improvements over its predecessor – the Vivo V30 Pro. The Vivo V30 Pro is the company’s first V-series smartphone with Zeiss branding, so we can expect the V40 Pro to come with a Zeiss camera setup.
According to rumors, the Vivo V40 Pro might debut sometime in August or September in global markets, including India. The Vivo V40 series is expected to bring major improvements over its predecessor, so the company is skipping from V30 directly to V40. The Vivo V40 series smartphones might arrive as rebranded Vivo S19 series from China. The Vivo S19 series is not official in China yet, but we can expect it to debut soon.
