Samsung has been capitalizing on the AI trend since January and shows no signs of slowing down. The company is focused on integrating AI into various aspects of its products, including the batteries in its upcoming flagship line.
Reportedly, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will come equipped with “Battery AI” technology. This innovation is expected to increase battery life by up to 10%.
While competitors from China have boosted battery life in their Galaxy S rivals by simply adding a larger battery, Samsung is taking a different approach by incorporating AI technology to optimize battery performance without increasing physical capacity. This allows Samsung to enhance other aspects of the phone with AI.
It raises the question – why not include a 5,500 mAh cell in the S25 Ultra and implement the magical Battery AI on top of it? This remains unanswered, but it’s a thought worth considering.
Rumors suggest that Battery AI will prioritize essential functions to prolong battery life without compromising phone performance. This means it won’t overclock the CPU and GPU, which is a positive aspect. More details about this technology are yet to be revealed.
