The iQOO Z9x, which was launched in China last month, will be released in India on May 16. We do not have the Indian prices yet, but the brand announced that the Z9x will be available in the country through its official Indian website and Amazon.in.
The images of the iQOO Z9x shared by iQOO India reveal that the smartphone has a dual-camera setup at the back, with a 50MP unit, just like the Chinese model. If the iQOO Z9x launched in India is the same as the one launched in China (the Z9 is different in both countries), it will come with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, a 6.72″ 120Hz FullHD+ LCD, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 44W charging.
The Indian iQOO Z9x will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and three cameras – 50MP primary, 2MP depth, and 8MP selfie. It will also have an IP64 rating, but instead of OriginOS, it will run Funtouch OS out of the box, as the former is exclusive to China.

If this all sounds familiar, it’s because the iQOO Z9x is a version of the vivo T3x, which is already available in India. However, the iQOO Z9x’s target audience and pricing may be different. We will find out next Thursday. Meanwhile, you can read our iQOO Z9 Indian model first impressions to know more about it.
