This is also when 25 other games will leave the PS Plus subscription service. These include six Final Fantasy titles: Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition, and Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster.
Horizon Zero Dawn PS5 Remaster Coming Soon?
The recent development has sparked rumors about the possibility of a Horizon Zero Dawn PS5 remaster. There have been ongoing discussions about the game’s remaster/remake version. Sony has previously taken a similar approach leading up to the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, pulling the original Marvel Spider-Man from the PS Plus catalogue five months before the sequel’s launch.
Horizon Zero Dawn is considered a PlayStation classic and one of the top-selling titles from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). The game was initially released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in 2017 and gained instant popularity. Sony later expanded its availability to Windows PCs in 2020. The studio released its highly anticipated sequel Horizon Forbidden West in 2022, which was another success.
