A Vivo phone has been launched in several Asian countries under the name Y100 4G. The smartphone comes with a large battery that charges very quickly and is powered by a Snapdragon 685. These specifications may sound familiar because this is not a new smartphone; in true Vivo fashion, this is a Vivo V30 Lite rebranded for different markets.
The Y100 4G shares a footprint with a handful of other Vivo devices, but most of them have a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera that serves as a secondary to the 50 MP main camera. Here the camera combination is 50 MP + 2 MP.
Vivo equipped this phone, as well as eight (!) others, with a 6.67” AMOLED screen, a 5,000 mAh battery, and the Y100 4G supports 80W fast charging. Other specs include Funtouch 14 on top of Android 14, an IP54 rating, and dual stereo speakers.
The Y100 4G is offered in Crystal Black and Breeze Green. The price for the 8/256 GB version is around £180, but due to exchange rate fluctuations, it may vary in different countries.
