The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro smartphone is rumoured to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, according to a reliable source on Weibo. The user Smart Pikachu has confirmed previous rumours about the phone offering 1TB of storage, an option currently available only in China by OnePlus.
Additionally, the user hinted at a new overall design for the phone, consistent with earlier reports. However, it remains to be seen if this new information is genuine or simply repeating what another leakster disclosed two weeks ago.
If the information provided is accurate, the Ace 3 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor. This sensor is the same as the one found in the Ace 3 (known internationally as the OnePlus 12R). It will be interesting to see if the advanced processing power of the Gen 3 flagship chipset enhances the overall photo quality.
OnePlus typically launches its Ace series smartphones in August, so we can expect a couple of months filled with leaks and rumours leading up to the official announcement of the Ace 3 Pro.
