In recent weeks, there have been numerous rumours circulating about Max Verstappen potentially making a switch from Red Bull to Mercedes. Jos Verstappen, speaking on behalf of the ‘Verstappen camp’, has addressed these rumours.
The speculation surrounding Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen shows no signs of slowing down. Alongside the ongoing ‘Christian Horner case’, there have been talks of Adrian Newey’s potential departure from Red Bull, as well as rumours linking Max Verstappen with a move to Mercedes.
Recent whispers suggest that Mercedes may be interested in exploring the possibility of Max Verstappen switching teams after the Miami Grand Prix. While the ‘Verstappen camp’ has chosen to stay relatively quiet for now, Jos Verstappen has shared his thoughts on the situation and Max’s future in an interview with ‘Racexpress’.
“I believe that everyone would like to have Max on their team, but I think Max is content where he is right now. He has a fast car, but we also need to consider the future. We are already looking ahead to 2026. We are going to go with the flow and remain calm to see how things unfold,” commented Jos Verstappen.
