Infinix has already expanded its Note 40 line with four devices – the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 4G, and Note 40 Pro+. However, the company is not stopping there and is now working on a fifth member of the family – the Note 40 5G. This upcoming device has been spotted in the Google Play Console and has received certifications from the FCC, Wi-Fi Alliance, and BIS, as well as being benchmarked on Geekbench.
There is a lot of exciting information to delve into, so let’s begin. The Note 40, launched in March, is only available in 4G and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate SoC. On the other hand, the Note 40 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset with 5G capabilities.

One version of the Note 40 5G will come with 8GB of RAM, while other variants may offer more memory options. The phone will come with Android 14 pre-installed. In Geekbench 6 testing, it scored 802 for single-core and 2,032 for multi-core performance.
The Note 40 5G features a screen resolution of 1080×2436, with a pixel density of 480ppi. It also supports dual-band Wi-Fi and is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. The design of the Note 40 5G is expected to resemble its siblings in the Note 40 series, and it will include three rear cameras, although specifics about them have not yet been disclosed.
