We are excited to share some exclusive pictures of the upcoming vivo X100s. We have received information that vivo is embracing a new, flatter design, following the trend from the curved X100, and these images validate this claim. Our source also indicates a potential May launch for the X100s, along with its Pro and Ultra variants.
The X100s showcases a flat frame with a textured finish and a slightly curved (2.5D) rear glass panel. The camera island features a jagged ring housing four cameras. The camera configuration remains similar to the X100, featuring a 15-70mm setup with an ultra-wide 15mm lens, a 70mm periscope lens, and a 50MP f/1.6 main camera.
Introducing the vivo X100s
Vivo seems to have drawn inspiration from the iPhone 15 Pro for the design of the X100s, featuring a flat-edge display and a similar color scheme. However, the X100s boasts a thinner profile at 7.89mm (compared to the iPhone’s 8.3mm).
Consumers can expect color options such as white, black, cyan, and titanium. The X100s is rumored to debut with a Dimensity 9300+ chip, possibly with a higher clocked Cortex-X4 (3.4GHz).
The pricing for the vivo X100 started at CNY 3,999, and we anticipate a similar price point for the X100s, positioning it competitively against its Apple counterpart.
Exploring the textured side frame
While the vivo X100 remained exclusive to China, we are hopeful that its successor will have a broader availability.
