Following yesterday’s surprise announcement, Moondrop is back with more details about its MIAD 01 smartphone, along with additional product images.
According to the information shared by the company, the MIAD 01 will boast a 6.7-inch, 1080p resolution curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920MHz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Regarding audio features, the phone will include the previously mentioned 4.4mm fully balanced and 3.5mm single-ended audio outputs. Moondrop now claims that it will be powered by a flagship decoding chip, gold-sinking independent soundtrack, and an independent LDO power supply.
Front and back
The company has also unveiled additional images of the device, showcasing the curved display on the front, the flat top and bottom, and the curved sides. While the back material remains undisclosed, it appears to be a uniform polycarbonate shell with no visible antenna lines.
Details about the device’s chipset and battery specifications are still unknown, which will inevitably influence the price of the phone. Given the premium audio features resembling those of digital audio players, the phone is expected to be more on the expensive side. Further information is awaited, and we may return tomorrow with updates.
