Flitsmeister is introducing a convenient device for your car that helps you stay informed about speed cameras, speed checks, and more. Learn all about the Flitsmeister Dash here.
Introducing the Flitsmeister Dash
The Flitsmeister Dash is a device with a small, round touchscreen that displays your current speed and the speed limit. It also alerts users about speed cameras, speed checks, delays, and hazardous road conditions. The device works independently, so you don’t need a smartphone.
You can also start parking sessions and save trips with the Flitsmeister Dash. The device can be mounted in two ways: with the included holder or in the ventilation grille. The necessary accessories are included in the standard packaging. Flitsmeister also provides a protective cover for storing the Dash.
The Flitsmeister Dash can be wirelessly charged (via the magnet in the holder) or with a USB-C cable and 12V charger. The battery life of the device on a full charge is unspecified. It also includes a speaker for audible notifications and weighs 123 grams.
Through the Flitsmeister Dash, you can monitor and report speed cameras, road works, and other road conditions, similar to the Flitsmeister smartphone app. The device has its own 4G internet connection via an eSIM, so a Dash subscription is required. The connection covers all of Europe, except for Germany where the use of devices with flash signaling is prohibited.
Subscription and Pricing
The monthly subscription fee is 9.99 euros, which includes Flitsmeister Pro and Trip Registration. The suggested retail price for the Flitsmeister Dash is 149.99 euros, and pre-orders are now available. Flitsmeister plans to ship the device to buyers in July.
