The Oppo K12 first came into the spotlight at the end of March when a leak suggested it would be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Nord CE4, a phone that was recently unveiled at the beginning of this month. Today, Oppo has begun teasing the official launch date, which is set for April 24 – just around the corner.
The K12 will make its debut in the Chinese market on April 24 at 14:30 local time. So far, Oppo has revealed that it will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging – similar to the OnePlus Nord CE4. Additionally, the K12 will also include some AI features, reminiscent of those recently introduced by OnePlus.

The K12 will be available in two colors that are identical to those of the Nord CE4. Given that this seems to be a direct rebrand, it’s worth noting that the Nord CE4 features a 6.7-inch 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen with 1,100-nit peak brightness, IP54 certification for dust and splash resistance, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, a 16 MP selfie camera, and an optical under-display fingerprint sensor.
