Apple has discontinued its leather accessories for mobile devices since September, replacing them with a “FineWoven” material made from 68% post-consumer recycled polyester. They have been selling FineWoven iPhone cases for £59, MagSafe wallets for £59, AirTag cases for £35, and Apple Watch bands for £99.
According to a recent report from the same source that first leaked information about FineWoven accessories last year, Apple has now halted production on all of them. If this information is accurate (and it seems reliable), now is the time to act fast and purchase a FineWoven product before they sell out forever.
FineWoven is no longer available.
Due to poor durability, the entire production line has been shut down.

If you’re wondering why Apple has discontinued the FineWoven line after just six months, it may be due to widespread reports of poor quality and short lifespan. Unfortunately, fans of leather will not see a return as Apple plans to introduce a new material in place of FineWoven.
If these changes go through, the FineWoven discontinuation may be one of Apple’s biggest missteps in recent years. It remains to be seen if the company will address the reported issues or silently phase out the material. Stay tuned.
