TECNO recently held a presentation for the CAMON 30 Premier 5G smartphone, which was first showcased at MWC 2024. The company announced the upcoming launch of the new product and highlighted its main features. The CAMON 30 Premier stands out with its impressive camera sensors, a dedicated image processing processor from Sony, and several other flagship functions.
The TECNO CAMON 30 Premier 5G comes with an AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, a variable refresh rate ranging from 10 to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. It features a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus. On the back, there are three 50-megapixel modules: the main Sony IMX890 (1/1.56″, f/1.88) with optical stabilization, a “periscope” lens with 2x optical zoom (EGF 70 mm), and an ultra-wide lens.
To enhance the quality of photography, the smartphone is equipped with a dedicated coprocessor Sony Imaging Chip (CXD5622G) supporting PolarAce technology. The combination of these features, according to the brand, enhances video smoothness, improves color reproduction, enables shooting of stunning HDR videos in 4K, and utilizes AI to suppress noise. The device also supports Night Vision function to enhance the quality of night shots.
The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor and 12 GB of RAM, along with a 5000 mAh battery featuring 70-watt fast charging. Additional features include touch detection with wet fingers, Wi-Fi 6, speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a metal body, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The smartphone is set to be released worldwide in May, at which point the company will disclose the price of the new product in different regions.
