Three-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has made it to the Time 100, an annual list of the hundred most influential people drawn up by ‘Time Magazine.’
Max Verstappen’s achievements in recent years have not gone unnoticed as they have earned him a place in this year’s Time 100. The Dutchman is in good company because the list consists of world leaders, artists, writers and other leading global figures.
Sean Gregory, the head of Time Magazine’s sports department, noted that Max Verstappen was so confident behind the wheel that he could even keep an eye on the trackside screens during at least one race to see how his competitors were doing. .
The Time 100 has its origins in 1999. The people who made it to this year’s list will be invited to a summit on April 24 and a gala on May 15, but it is not certain whether Verstappen will be able to attend given his busy schedule.
Verstappen is not the first F1 driver to be included in the Time 100. Lewis Hamilton did it before him in 2020 and in 2005 we found Michael Schumacher in the list.
