The Redmi Pad Pro was recently unveiled alongside the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone for the Chinese market. If you were wondering whether the tablet would have a global debut, the answer seems to be a resounding yes, with 5G support in some markets.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G has already made an appearance in the Google Play Console database with the model number 24074RPD2I, indicating its launch in India (the “I” at the end represents India). But that’s not all! The database also lists the model numbers 2405CRPFDL for Latin America and 2405CRPFDG for other global markets. However, both the Latin American and global versions do not support 5G.
Therefore, the Redmi Pad Pro will soon be available in all regions where Redmi products are officially sold, which is great news. The international models all come with 8 GB of RAM (while in China, there is also a version with 6 GB).
The tablet features a 12.1″ 120 Hz IPS LCD touchscreen with a peak brightness of 600 nits, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, 128/256 GB of storage, an 8 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front camera, and a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. It runs on Android 14 with HyperOS 1.0 on top.
In China, there is also a keyboard case and a stylus available with the tablet, and these accessories may also be offered internationally. Alternatively, you may be able to purchase the keyboard case and stylus separately.
