Motorola is preparing for the launch of the Moto G64 5G and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra smartphones. Today, we have spotted the G64 5G and Edge 50 Ultra smartphones in the Geekbench listing, revealing their monikers.
The database reveals that the G64 5G smartphone has scored 1026 points in single-core and 2458 points in multi-core tests. The device will sport a chipset with the ARM implementor 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3393 revision 0.
The octa-core chipset has a base frequency of 2.0GHz and features six cores at 2.0GHz and two cores at 2.5GHz. The Geekbench database further adds that the chipset pairs with the PowerVR B-Series BXM-8-256 GPU.
The octa-core architecture and GPU details hint that Moto will equip the smartphone with the Dimensity 7025 SoC. The Dimensity 7025 SoC features two Cortex A78 cores at 2.5GHz and six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz.
The chipset will pair with up to 12GB of RAM and is expected to debut in other RAM configurations. As per the listing, the G64 5G smartphone will run on Android 14 out of the box.
The forthcoming smartphone will debut as a successor to the Moto G62 5G, which debuted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC. The renders shared on X (formerly Twitter) confirm that the device will sport a flat display with a centered punch hole cutout.
The branding on the camera module confirms that the device will feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS. The power button and the volume rockers will be present on the right side of the device.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Geekbench Listing
In contrast, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has scored 1947 points in single-core and 5149 points in multi-core tests. The device will be powered by an octa-core chipset with the Adreno 735 GPU. The identifiers suggest that Motorola will equip the smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset will pair with up to 12GB of RAMand the device will run on Android 14 out of the box. The Edge 50 Ultra is expected to be a rebrand of the Motorola X50 Ultra smartphone, launching in China in the upcoming days.
A recent leak suggests that the Edge 50 Ultra will sport 50MP triple cameras on the rear, including a periscope telephoto sensor with a 5x optical zoom. Motorola has scheduled a launch event on April 16 in the global markets to unveil the Edge 50 series smartphones.
