DxOMark experts have conducted tests on the display of the Vivo X100 Pro smartphone in various operating scenarios. Based on the test results, the device showed decent performance, and even set a lab record in one of the disciplines.
The Vivo X100 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz and a resolution of 1260×2800 pixels. The experts praised the reliable color reproduction in low light conditions as a standout feature of this display. In this aspect, the smartphone set a lab record. Additionally, the experts noted the good quality of HDR video playback.
The display of the Vivo X100 Pro also had its drawbacks, including unnatural display of dark colors in bright sunlight, frame drops in mobile games, and uneven backlight brightness (lighter area at the left edge).
Meanwhile, DxOMark measured peak brightness indicators: 1890 nits in direct sunlight and 1037 nits in outdoor lighting (20,000 lux). The smartphone ranked 16th globally and 14th in its price category based on all test results.
