Earlier today, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy M55 in Brazil, with plans to release the device in other countries, including India. A reliable source has leaked the prices for the handset in India.
The Galaxy M55 starts at INR 26,999 (approximately £241 or €299) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage option is priced at INR 29,999 (£268 or €332), while the top model, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at INR 32,999 (£295 or €366).

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy M55 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz Super AMOLED touchscreen with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a built-in optical fingerprint sensor. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and offers expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
The device sports a triple camera system on the back, consisting of a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 50 MP front camera. The phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging. It runs on Android 14 with One UI 6 and is promised to receive four major Android updates and five years of security fixes.
