Former Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner has, in addition to his role as expert and interviewer for ‘RTL Germany’, been given a new job in Formula 1.
When the Haas F1 team announced at the end of last year that Guenther Steiner would no longer be the team principal of the American F1 team this year, Steiner seemed to disappear from Formula 1 for at least some time, but Steiner is also present in Formula 1 this year. 1, although in all kinds of other functions.
For example, Steiner has already appeared as an expert for the German TV channel RTL and he was also allowed to do official interviews with the drivers during a race weekend. Guenther Steiner is still very popular and they are still trying to take advantage of that popularity in Formula 1.
Guenther Steiner will therefore also get a new job, as he will become an ambassador for the Miami GP. Steiner will perform a number of important functions during the race weekend and in his role as ambassador he must contribute to the popularity of Formula 1 in America. Given his incredible popularity thanks to the Netflix series ‘Drive to Survive’, this seems like an easy assignment for Steiner for which he will undoubtedly be well paid. Lots of fun and therefore not the burden of ‘being an F1 team boss’, an ideal combo for Steiner.
“I look forward to being an ambassador for the Miami Grand Prix, which has become one of my favorite races of the year,” said Steiner. “I have seen firsthand how Formula 1 has grown in the United States and it has so much potential to continue to grow, especially with races like Miami being part of the calendar.”
“This event reflects the bold vision of the organizers, combining American spectacle and F1 racing with a vibrant atmosphere on the track and in the city itself. I can’t wait to work with this team in May on an event that will once again be fantastic.”
