Vivo has introduced a new model in the mid-segment with a bright AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4-series processor, and Android 14. The company has revealed all the characteristics of the new product and showcased its photographs.
The Vivo V40 SE is equipped with a 120 Hz AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The peak brightness is 1800 nits, and the color gamut is 107% DCI-P3. The hardware platform is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2).
The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels, the ultra-wide one is 8 megapixels. There is also a 2-megapixel auxiliary module and a 16-megapixel front camera. A 5000 mAh battery with support for fast 44-watt charging is responsible for autonomy. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can play YouTube videos for 16.6 hours on a single charge and the duration of voice calls can be almost 30 hours.
The price of the smartphone has not yet been announced.
