Realme is excited to bring the 12x to India next week on April 2 at 12pm local time. The phone was recently launched in China, and the anticipation for its debut in India is growing. Today, Realme revealed that the device will be priced at less than INR 12,000 (£111 at current exchange rates).
Additionally, a reliable source has leaked some minor differences between the Indian model and the Chinese version. The Indian 12x will support 45W wired charging, as opposed to 15W in China.
According to the leak, the Indian 12x will also be 0.21mm thinner and 2g lighter than the Chinese model. Nevertheless, these slight differences are unlikely to be noticeable in everyday use.
Realme describes the 12x as an “entry-level 5G killer,” offering impressive features at an affordable price point for its target audience. These details were shared in an official press release sent to us by the company.
The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC, a 120 Hz FHD+ display, and dual speakers. Additional features confirmed from the Chinese model include a 6.67″ LCD screen, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a dual rear camera system (50MP main, 2MP depth sensor), and an 8MP selfie camera. It runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0.
