Apple started streaming its WWDC events on YouTube in 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The brand later moved to a hybrid format, combining in-person events and pre-recorded videos, but all sessions were only accessible through the Apple Developer app.
Prior to WWDC 2024, Apple launched a new YouTube channel named Apple Developer. With 2.5 months left until the event on June 10, where new content is expected to be revealed, the channel was populated with all sessions from the 2023 Developers Conference.
Apple already has its own video channel on YouTube, where they post promotions for devices like the iPhone or Vision Pro. The Apple Developer channel currently features 40 videos, all available for viewing, although comments have been disabled.
The upcoming event in June will showcase the introduction of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, as well as updated versions of watchOS, tvOS, macOS, and visionOS.
