Samsung is gearing up to bring back the Galaxy C series, almost 7 years after the last member was released. A listing on Google Play Console has unveiled a phone named Galaxy C55 is in the works. The model number is m55xqeea, indicating that it could potentially be the Galaxy M55 (also rumored to be marketed as the Galaxy F55) tailored for different regions or distribution channels.
Samsung Galaxy C55 on Google Play Console
The phone aligns with the key specifications of the Galaxy M55/F55 – featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and running on Android 14 straight out of the box.
The device is displayed with three cameras, and assuming the C55 is the same as the speculated M55, the cameras might consist of a 50 MP primary lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP portrait lens.
The listing does not disclose details on a potential Galaxy C55 launch, but we foresee it happening soon as the phone has completed its final software for Google Play Console.
