Remarkable twist in the saga surrounding F1 team boss Christian Horner. The Red Bull employee who accused the man of inappropriate behavior has now been suspended by the company.
The employee had filed a complaint against 50-year-old Christian Horner for sexual misconduct. At the end of February, the team boss and CEO of Red Bull Racing, who has been associated with the racing team since the beginning of 2005, was acquitted by a lawyer engaged by Red Bull. Since then there has been a lot of fuss about it.
Now the case is taking a new turn. The employee herself has now been suspended by Red Bull, as a result of the internal investigation into the allegations. The company indicates that it will not communicate about the matter because it is a personal matter.
Horner himself has now arrived in Saudi Arabia for the big prize there. He would address the press later today. It is striking that his wife Geri Halliwell did not travel with him.
