It is also rumored to come with an Exynos 1480 processor, replacing the 1380 found in the Galaxy A54. This change will make the new device 15% more powerful in terms of CPU performance, with a 32% and 167% increase in the performance of the “integration” and neuromodule, respectively.
Other upgrades for the A55 model include a more durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ instead of Gorilla Glass 5, a metal frame replacing the plastic one, and support for Super HDR mode in recorded videos.
Similarly, the A35 model is expected to receive upgrades. The MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip will be replaced by the Exynos 1380, offering an 18% faster CPU, and an 81% and 15% faster neurochip and GPU, respectively. Other features include Gorilla Glass Victus+ and Super HDR mode for video. Moreover, these new products may be priced more competitively than the current models.
Furthermore, the source has released images showcasing the key features of the smartphones, revealing a promise of four Android OS updates and five years of security patches. Samsung has yet to officially announce the release of these smartphones.
