According to recent reports from sources close to SamMobile, Samsung is rumored to host its annual Unpacked event in early July to unveil its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6. Another source from South Korea also believes that the event is likely to take place in early to mid-July.

Reports indicate that the Unpacked event may happen approximately two weeks earlier than last year’s date of July 26, potentially targeting around July 12th. The event is rumored to be held in Paris this year, with the aim of launching before the start of the Olympic Games in Paris on July 26 to focus on the European market. Samsung seeks to capitalize on the absence of Chinese smartphone makers in the market this year.
Previous models, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, were launched in San Francisco about two weeks later after their initial debut in South Korea, sparking speculation about an earlier event this time around. Supply chain sources suggest that final product testing will be completed by April, well ahead of the July launch date, potentially ruling out a domestic launch in South Korea like last year.
Furthermore, the report mentions that Samsung does not plan to introduce any new foldable or rollable form factors this year, although the possibility of the Galaxy Ring is not completely dismissed.
