On Thursday we saw Lewis Hamilton drive to the fastest time, Mercedes was at the top with both cars at the end of the second practice session, but Max Verstappen seemed to be ‘playing hide and seek’ with a sixth fastest time. Red Bull is still the benchmark according to the competition and this last practice session could possibly be a first indication of this.

Especially towards the end of the practice session, the times dropped considerably. Ultimately, it was Carlos Sainz who set the fastest time in the Ferrari, followed by Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen who completed the top three. The different teams are relatively close to each other and it looks like we will have an exciting qualifying for the Bahrain GP.
