Nubia’s RedMagic has unveiled the DAO 150W GaN charger, featuring an interesting metallic transparent design. It measures 110x71x35mm, weighs 870g, and includes four ports – 1x USB-A, 2x USB-C, and 1x DC.
The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger has a maximum output of 150W, with the DC port supplying 20V/7.5A, the two USB-C ports supporting up to 140W together, and the single USB-A port delivering up to 30W. This allows for charging multiple devices simultaneously, including gaming laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger supports PD3.1 protocol, which, when combined with the DAO All-GaN chip, enables “dual-chip control” for faster, safer charging. In addition, it utilizes advanced cooling technology to maintain safe and efficient charging.
The DAO 150W GaN charger features a customizable LCD that displays real-time charging status and input/output power, among other things. It also includes a side touch button, AC line, and an interchangeable base for personalization.
In addition, the DAO 150W GaN charger supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to remotely control the lights and monitor charging status through the Goper app. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Windows, Linux, and Android devices.
The plug of the RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger is detachable and foldable, and it is also compatible with interchangeable plugs, including US and EU plugs.
The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger is priced at €199 in Europe, MXN3,699 in Mexico, and $199 in the US, Canada, and other countries. It will be available for $20 less as a promotion from March 1 to March 31, 2024, sold through RedMagic’s official website.
The retail package includes 1x AC adapter cable, 1x DC to DC charging cable, 1x Type-C to Type-C 6A 150W custom data cable (with PD3.1), and 1x velvet bag.
