Max Verstappen had a productive first test day of the new Formula 1 season. At the Bahrain International Circuit, the reigning world champion clocked 143 laps and set the fastest time of the day.
On an almost problem-free first test day in Bahrain, Verstappen recorded a 1.31.344, more than a second faster than the number two of the day, Lando Norris. The morning session in particular, with 66 laps completed, was a productive session for the Red Bull driver, who was officially introduced to his RB20 on Wednesday.
