The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has recently undergone a rigorous stress test to determine its durability. The results show that the new Ultra is highly resistant to damage, as evidenced in the images below.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra undergoes stress test
Every smartphone manufacturer dreads the moment when their latest device falls into the hands of a YouTuber who subjects it to various tests to assess its durability. This time, it was the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra facing the dreaded ‘stress test’ by JerryRigEverything.
Samsung can be pleased with the results. The S24 Ultra features a new top layer: Gorilla Glass Armor, which reduces reflections by up to 75 percent and offers better protection against scratches. Videos demonstrate that it takes a long time for deep scratches to appear on the display, a feat no other device has been able to surpass.
While the housing of the S24 Ultra, made of titanium, seems to scratch fairly easily, it remains unfazed when exposed to a lighter near the screen.
Throughout the stress test, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra exhibits impressive build quality. In an attempt to break the phone in half, it gives in slightly but never comes close to snapping, proving its durability.
