The first owners of the new flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S24 series have noticed that the screens are not working properly and are not allowing them to fully appreciate the potential of the new products. According to preliminary information, this is a bug in the firmware, which is already being fixed.
Samsung flagships, like most other Android smartphones, allow you to switch the screen color mode between rich and natural. However, in the case of Galaxy S24 series models, switching between “Vivid” and “Natural” modes doesn’t produce any result — the picture remains with neutral and natural colors. The problem is that the Vivid mode not only increases saturation, but also brightness, contrast, and sharpness, all of which improve readability, especially in outdoor settings.
One of the site users on reddit wrote that Samsung support confirmed to him the presence of a software error and is already working on fixing it with a firmware update. It is likely that it will be released after the official start of smartphone sales, scheduled for January 31.
