Xiaomi is dominating the smart band space with the Mi Smart Band series, and Samsung aims to capture a piece of that market. Though the Galaxy Fit3 has been leaked multiple times, it has yet to be officially announced. Rumors about its release started last November, and we hope that means it will be launching soon.
Today, the Galaxy Fit3 has been leaked again, this time by Samsung itself – images were accidentally posted ahead of schedule on a local Samsung website.
The Fit2 was launched in 2020, so the Fit3 is overdue. It will have a much larger screen than its predecessor, which is necessary for it to compete with Xiaomi in this space.
The Fit3 comes with a quick release mechanism to swap straps effortlessly. According to previously leaked information, it will sport a 1.61″ display and weigh 21g. It is made of aluminum and will be offered in grey, silver, and rose gold casings.
As expected, it will feature heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and a host of other sports-related features. It is said to last 13 days on a single charge from its 200mAh battery, and it will have 5W charging support.
