The Mercedes F1 team said in a statement that it has agreed a new long-term agreement with technical director James Allison.
Earlier this week, team boss Toto Wolff announced that he will remain with the Mercedes F1 team for at least three more years and with the contract extension of James Allison, the brand with the star is clearly opting for stability for the future. Allison has been active at Mercedes since 2017 and was one of the founders of five constructors’ titles.
“F1 has brought me a lot of happiness and joy, but the greatest happiness came from answering Toto Wolff’s call in 2017,” James Allison responded to the announcement of his contract extension. “It is a huge privilege to continue this adventure and to be able to work together with some brilliant colleagues and fight together for new success in the fight for the world title.”
