After confirming the January 17 date for the Galaxy S24 Unpacked event, Samsung US is now accepting reservations for the upcoming trio. While no official specs have been revealed, Samsung plans to focus on performance, quality, and generative AI. This early bird promotion follows the tradition of previous series releases, such as the S21, S22, and S23 series.
To participate, simply fill out a form with your name, email, and optional phone number, and you’ll receive $50 in Samsung credit when the Galaxy S24 trio launches. The credit cannot be used towards the cost of the phone, but it can be used for purchasing phone accessories.
There is no obligation to buy anything or submit a deposit – just sign up for a “remind me” email and receive a small bonus.
Interestingly, the page indicates that you can “Keep getting $50 in Samsung credit for up to $1,020 in savings when you pre-order the latest phone from Galaxy.” The $1,020 savings likely include trade-in credit and may only be achievable with the most expensive model, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, official pricing for the new phones has not been disclosed by Samsung.com, so the final cost is still unknown.
Unofficially, it has been rumored that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will be cheaper in the EU, and the S24 Ultra is expected to have a higher base model cost but cost less for higher memory levels. However, it is suggested that prices will remain the same in other regions, according to leaks from Korea.
Rumors from Korea also suggest that Galaxy S24 pre-orders will come with a perk of double the storage for free, similar to the S23 pre-orders last year. This provides another incentive to pick up an S24 unit early, before open sales start, likely at the end of January.
