The Infinix Smart 8, the successor to the Smart 7, has been officially released. This new device shares a resemblance to the Tecno Pop 8, as both Infinix and Tecno are under Transsion Holdings.
The Smart 8 features an IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has a punch-hole cutout and a Dynamic Island-like overlay for status updates and charging information.

The Smart 8 is equipped with the Unisoc T606 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage via a microSD card slot. It houses a 13MP main camera (f/1.8), a VGA depth assist, and an LED flash.
The device runs on Android 13 with Infinix XOS 13 overlay and features a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The Infinix Smart 8 is available in Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold colors. It is currently on sale in Nigeria at a retail price of NGN 82,000 ($105).
