The Grand Prix Formula in Monaco has started in a chaotic manner. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) got off to a good start from pole position in front of his own crowd, but behind him there was chaos. His teammate Carlos Sainz went straight at one of the first corners due to a flat tire, while not much remained of Sergio Perez’s Red Bull.
Leclerc got off to a good start from pole position and held the lead without any problems, while number two Oscar Piastri got alongside the other Ferrari of Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard seemed to outwit the Australian on the inside of the first corner, but hit the McLaren very lightly. Piastri left his car and continued his way in second. Initially, nothing seemed to be wrong for Sainz, but a few corners later the Ferrari driver went straight due to a flat tire. The winner of the GP in Australia was able to continue his way.

There was chaos not only at the front, but also at the back. Sergio Perez had a real catch-up race from sixteenth place, but was stranded barely a few meters away. The Mexican lightly closed the door on Kevin Magnussen and collided with the Dane. In the crash he also knocked Nico Hülkenberg’s other Haas out of the race, leaving not much of the Red Bull itself. The organization logically raised the red flag.
