Motorola is expected to launch the Razr 50 lineup in the coming weeks. Recently, design renders of the Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra surfaced on the web. Now, the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 (model number XT2453-2) has been spotted on China’s TENAA certification website. Let’s dive into the details.
Motorola Razr 50: Design Renders and Specs
The Motorola Razr 50 TENAA certification listing showcases its design, revealing a complete overhaul compared to its predecessor. The vanilla Razr model in the Razr 50 series will feature a large cover display. Apart from the cover display, the remaining design elements appear to be the same as last year’s Razr 40.
The Motorola Razr 50 will come with a 3.6-inch cover display featuring a 1056 × 1066 pixel resolution and OLED panel. Its folding display will be a 6.9-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2640 pixel) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by a 3950mAh battery.
For the cameras, the Motorola Razr 50 will have a dual setup with a 50MP primary shooter and a 13MP secondary camera, likely an ultra-wide-angle lens. It will also sport a 32MP camera inside a centred punch-hole notch on the folding display. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset dimensions are 171.3 × 73.9 × 7.2mm, weighing 188 grams.
According to the TENAA listing, the Motorola Razr 50 will have an octa-core processor with a peak frequency of 2.5GHz. Rumors suggest this could be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor. Memory options include 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, while storage options range from 128GB to 1TB.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to support 33W fast charging. Rumors indicate that the Razr 50 series will be officially announced next month, in June 2024.
