Earlier today, Oppo announced the official unveiling date of the Reno12 series: May 23. The company has now started teasing the phones and their alleged AI capabilities (since it’s 2024, everything must be AI-infused, apparently).
The Reno12 and Reno12 Pro share the same rear design, making it hard if not impossible to tell them apart. Clearly, they are in the same range. “AI Camera System” is proudly engraved on the camera island, because why not.

Both phones have three cameras on the back and a unique design of the back surface (which we assume is glass). According to previous rumors, the Reno12 will feature the Dimensity 8250 SoC, while the Pro will have the Dimensity 9200+. Check out this leaked teaser video for the duo for your viewing pleasure.
The Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch “1.5K” display, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support, and three 50MP cameras — primary, 2x telephoto, and selfie.
