In recent months there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the collaboration between Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App RB, the former AlphaTauri. In the run-up to the current season, there was a commotion because, prior to its name change, AlphaTauri announced that from this year onwards they would collaborate even more intensively with sister team Red Bull and would take over or copy as many parts as possible.
Naturally, the other teams did not agree with this, especially McLaren CEO Zak Brown expressed his frustration about this. Brown made it clear that such cooperation seriously disadvantaged the other teams and was a form of distortion of competition.
During the most recent meeting of the ‘F1 Commission’, the cooperation between the Red Bull teams was also discussed. In that area, F1 boss Stefano Domenicali had good news because there would be ‘no problems’ in that area.
