The presentation of the next generation of Xiaomi flagship smartphones is expected in about six months, but the first details are already beginning to appear on the Internet. Thus, the famous Chinese insider Digital Chat Station spoke about some changes in the design of the future Xiaomi 15 Pro.
Judging by the information from the insider, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will be generally similar to its predecessor: it should retain the square camera block, but the LED flash will be moved beyond it. Presumably, this change is due to the use of larger camera modules.
Let us remind you that the current Xiaomi 14 Pro uses three 50 MP cameras: a wide-angle with an OmniVision Light Hunter 900 sensor (1/1.31″), an ultra-wide-angle with a Samsung JN1 sensor (1/2.76″), and a telephoto with the same sensor. According to an insider, in the next model, the manufacturer will refrain from using the Samsung JN1 sensor. It is likely that it will be replaced with a more advanced and larger one. It is not yet clear whether the main module will change.
Earlier, information also appeared that Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro could become the first smartphones based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
