There are already several Redmi Note 13 models available, along with a few Redmi 13Cs, but Xiaomi’s sub-brand appears to be working on a Redmi 13 as well. This particular phone has been certified in Indonesia by SDPPI, with the model number 24040RN64Y.
While this certification does not disclose any specifications, it confirms the name of the device. It has also been certified by Singapore’s IMDA, the US FCC, and the EEC. According to the FCC, it will feature a 5,000 mAh typical capacity battery (4,930 mAh rated capacity) and support 33W fast wired charging.
It is expected to come with Android 14 and HyperOS 1.0, as well as Bluetooth 5.3 support. Previous rumors suggested that it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, and it may be the same device as the Poco M6 4G, which recently received various certifications.
It wouldn’t be surprising for a smartphone to be released under both the Redmi and Poco brands in multiple markets, as such strategies have been common for years. The Poco M6 4G is anticipated to launch in India, and the Redmi 13 will also be available there, although it has not yet cleared the BIS certification, indicating its launch may be further delayed. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
