Airtel is among the most prominent names in the field of telecommunications in the country. Its user base is huge, and the users of the service enjoy many cheap data plans and benefits. Calls play an important role in connecting people around the world. Therefore, it is crucial to have access to call history. Although getting your call history for a month is simple—just open the call log on your phone—but accessing more than a month, up to the past 6 months, can be challenging. Here, detailed ways on how to get your Airtel call history are provided.
Note: According to Airtel, there is no direct way to access your 6-month call history at once, including the current month you are using the service in (information will be absent until the month is completed).
Checking Airtel Call History via SMS and Airtel Thanks App (Prepaid & Postpaid)
This method works for prepaid users only. Before starting, ensure that your Airtel Thanks app is updated on your device, for both Android and iOS.
- Open the Airtel Thanks app on your device.
- Tap on the Help tab at the bottom right corner of your device screen.
- Tap on the Chat Now or Complaints icon.
- A list of pre-recorded queries will be displayed. Tap on the type icon at the bottom left (next to the mic icon).
- Type Call history there.
- To receive call details on your email ID, send a text with SMS EPREBILL (space) MONTH (space) EMAIL ID to 121. SMS this from your device’s messaging app with the appropriate details to 121. For example, if your email is [email protected], your message will look like this – EPREBILL APRIL [email protected].
- After sending the SMS, wait for a response like this – “Hi, Ebill for (your Airtel number) for Apr’(year) has been sent to your email ID: [email protected]. Your ebill password is XXXXXXXX.
- Open the Gmail app on your device or laptop. Find the email from Airtel, open the attached PDF, and enter the password.
