Xiaomi has announced the launch of HyperOS 1.0 for the Redmi Note 13 5G series in the UK, specifically for the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. These devices were initially launched last year with Android 13 featuring MIUI 14 on top.
HyperOS brings “comprehensive refactoring” to enhance performance on all devices, promising smoother gameplay with improved power consumption. Task scheduling has been optimized to maximize performance by distributing tasks across multiple computing units. Various optimizations have been implemented in the underlying technology stack to further improve the devices’ capabilities.
The update includes a new personalized lock screen, a redesigned control center without labels on the icons, interactive notifications, new app icons and animations, a revamped File Manager app with new categorizations, and fresh weather animations.
Typically, updates are rolled out in phases, so it may take a few days or weeks to reach all affected devices. The important thing is that the update process has started.
